Central Europe Review - Holy Lamb: Latvian progressive rock
Finally, the young drummer and newest member of the band, Miks Rullis, proves to be the biggest surprise to those who have never seen the band - excellent technique, solid timekeeping, eager aggressiveness and the stage presence of a veteran drummer twice his age.
The band was founded, ironically, within a few weeks of the restoration of Latvia's independence in 1991 as a thrash metal band.
The number of elderly chemistry professors and students on bicycles (the concert was at a science institute outside of Helsinki) that stopped and became fixated at the stage was a testament to the ability for the band to bring in new fans to it and the genre as a whole.

How do the blood vessels rupture, I have had some lambs do it and others don't, can the swelling also be caused by weak rubber bands, also if you banded a lamb and the band is a little low for your liking can you try to band them higher than the orginal band
also i think baby lambs with long tails dragging the ground and baby feces, are a disgusting sight, they look so much prettier when the tails are cut off, and we hardly ever have a plugged up lamb.
I may be wrong, but I believe it's because the band hasn't quite stopped the blood flow because it isn't tight enough.

The LP was co-billed to Lamb and Barbara Mauritz, though Swanson was still involved as a composer and instrumentalist on much of the material.

This album documents a band that circa 1986 finally headed south of Watford Gap to conquer a seemingly intransigent London blues scene, before memorably making their name in Europe.
Bowing to his judgement, a couple of gigs were organised, and the band swept into the capital, bulldozing their way to the centre of a busy gig circuit.
Lamb shuffled the centre stage to fill the gaps with some breathtaking harp, and Whitehill like the solid rhythm section behind him remained granite faced and steadfast.

Mancunian downtempo/drum'n'bass duo Lamb were one of the first groups to add a lyrics-based vocalist to steadfastly jungle-based productions.
But if anything it was the untouched title track that illustrated Lamb's commitment to keeping the music interesting (the track rows along on a thick double-bass sample and absolutely brutalizing drum sequences) while filling it out with a big dose of tunefulness.
The pair also added touring to their repertoire (Lamb's release was followed by a European tour with labelmates Galliano), combining their electronics-heavy productions with live instrumentalists.
