 | | The Museu de Lamego is located in the building of the former Bishop's Palace, from which it inherited a large part of the contents, that comprise its original holdings. |
 | | This is a museum with mainly ancient and sacred art, with permanent exhibitions of processional vehicles, Roman, Medieval and Baroque archaeology, ceramics and painted, glazed tiles, vestments, gilded woodwork, furniture, gold and silver work, sculpture, painting and tapestry. |
 | | Deserving special mention are the five 16th-century panels by Vasco Fernandes (Grão Vasco), that made up part of the altarpiece of the Cathedral of Lamego, and the group of Flemish tapestries made in Brussels during the 16th century. |
