Car review on LANCIA AURELIA B20 GT Honed through six series of careful development, with little thought to cost or compromise, the Lancia Aurelia B20 was a classic from birth.
Schemed by Vittorio Jano, the Aurelia B10 saloon was at the frontier of motorcar design in 1950, and even when the final 6th series B20 coupes were rolling out of the Pininfarina works in 1958, few, if any, cars had caught up with it.
Early two-liter Aurelia coupes (1st and 2nd Series) are much coveted by the cognoscenti, while the 5th and 6th Series B20 coupes have a softer, more touring character than the earlier cars.
