		Langtree at the Lake will include a 12-story, 250-room Embassy Suites with a convention center, a retail village, an additional four-story hotel, a par-3 golf course, a four-story boat storage building and condominium buildings with staggered heights of four to six stories.
		Langtree at the Lake will have several phases and is expected to be completed in 2015.
		Howard, 53, is a lifelong resident of the Langtree Road area and said he will move into a condo in the development.

		The fate of Langtree at the Lake was decided in an almost anticlimactic fashion on Dec. 4, as it took the Mooresville Board of Commissioners only minutes to comment on and vote unanimously in favor of the $800 million development, which has been the topic of hours of discussion and public comment at past meetings.
		Langtree at the Lake will also include approximately 150 luxury condominiums, a yacht club, restaurants, boutiques, offices, a child development center, a grocery store, a drug store, and a four-star, full-service 250-room Embassy Suites Hotel with a conference center.
		Howard said that Langtree at the Lake has been "running parallel with most of the civil engineering," and hopes to be applying for permits in about 60 days.

		Howard has cut the amount of commercial and retail space and number of homes proposed for the project off Langtree and Alcove roads, according to a revised plan filed late last week with the Mooresville Planning Department.
		Howard, a lifelong resident of the Langtree Road area, said he's received lots of positive response to his plans.

		The developers will not seek public funding or tax breaks… They expect the project to create 750 jobs and generate $4.4 million in property tax revenue each year to Mooresville and about $3.7 million annually to Iredell County.
		And strangely enough, the word on the street in Mooresville is that people are upset that there’s going to be an exit 32 built before there’s an exit 35 built!
