[imc-hamilton] proposed copy for audit feature
It is expected that as the matter moves forward before the courts DiIanni may argue that some of the issues surrounding his finances were due to similar practical difficulties resulting from the large amount of money, and donors involved in his campaign.
Jeff Levy, DiIanni's lawyer, is expected to argue for a process which would look a lot more like a trial, involving not only written submissions but also the calling of witnesses to give spoken testimony.
If the auditor were to find that Chapman's concerns were groundless and if it were to be shown that she had acted in bad faith the law provides that she can be pursued in the courts to recover the cost of the audit.
