Larry Munson, the voice of the University of Georgia football, told Georgia Public Television on Monday that he will broadcast both the Class AAA and Class AAAA Georgia High School Association championship football games this weekend.
Munson was scheduled to do play by play on the Class AAAA semifinals at the Georgia Dome last Friday and Saturday, but was ill and withdrew from those duties, GPTV said last Thursday.
Munson will team with former Atlanta Falcons offensive lineman Jeff Van Note on the Class AAA final Friday at 7 p.m., between Burke County and Thomasville at Thomasville, Ga., and the Class AAAA final Saturday at 7 p.m., between Tift County and Parkview at Atlanta.
