Larry Shreve a/k/a Abdullah the Butcher appeals the grant of judgment on the pleadings under OCGA 9-11-12 (c) to World Championship Wrestling, Inc., Turner Home Entertainment International, Inc., and Turner Broadcasting Systems, Inc., on his claim for wrongful appropriation of his name and likeness.
Shreve contends the trial court erred by granting judgment on the pleadings because the court considered matters outside the pleadings and because he had filed a jury trial demand.
Shreve's contention that the motion for judgment on the pleadings should not have been granted because he demanded a jury trial is also without merit.

 Cincinnati Local TV Kid Shows
A very popular Cincinnati TV host and commercial spokesman, Shreve dressed up in a derby, a checkered jacket, and a trick necktie which popped up and down in a somewhat obscene fashion (I swear I remember him saying on one episode "I just met a beautiful girl today"--whereupon the tie popped up again!).
Shreve also emceed A MILLION LAUGHS, which consisted of a package of Columbia 2-reelers which didn't star the 3 Stooges (the headliners included Andy Clyde, Buster Keaton and Hugh Herbert).
This resulted in yet another daily Bob Shreve series, with Shreve sitting in a makeshift canoe, trading wisecracks with a stuffed eagle named "Bird-uh." This show was WAY over the kid's heads, with Shreve telling risque jokes, doing Perry Como and Lawrence Welk imitations, and making insulting remarks about the cartoons.

 Abdullah the Butcher
Need to Know Facts: One of the all-time hellraisers of professional wrestling, Larry Shreve -- known in the squared circle as the Madman from the Sudan, Abdullah the Butcher -- was hardcore long before that term became popular among "smarks".
Born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada (sources differ on his date of birth, placing it anywhere between 1936 and 1941), Shreve began his long, blood-spattered career in 1958, wrestling for numerous promotions north of the border.
Accompanied through the years by everyone from the Great Mephisto to Mick Foley, Abby never let his gimmick grow stale, moving quickly from one territory to another (the most frequently used angle involved a hated manager bringing in the dreaded Sudanese maniac to annihilate the local lead babyface after all else had failed).
