The Last Post was originally a bugle call used in British Army camps to signal the end of the day.
The "last post" was thus the last point of this inspection, and the bugle call signalling that this post had been inspected marked the end of the military day.
The Last Post is used in public ceremonials commemorating the war dead, particularly on Remembrance Day in the Commonwealth of Nations (known as Veterans Day in the United States).

QQs problem is that he/she did not expect nor want any hard questions about toms platform statement that he got posted as a sticky at the very top.

On the Gallery home page, two of the four galleries do not show the last post unless I update the post count in the admincp.
In the picture, you can see there are obviously replies to the image, yet the last post is showing never.
The post is removed, yet it still shows up in the post count even though the post has been deleted.

I think it is possible to condemn the IRA for the actions it undertook during that period, and to acknowledge that the UDR was a tad bit more sectarian than this post claims.
I never had to mix with the locals (until I married one of them,) they did, as it was their community.
I think that it is more to the point that there may have been some in the ranks that were "imperfect".
