The Later Qin (Simplified Chinese character: 后秦, Traditional Chinese character: 後秦, pinyin Hòuqín) (384-417) was a state of Qiang ethnicity of the Sixteen Kingdoms during the Jin Dynasty (265-420) in China.
Note that the Later Qin is entirely distinct from the ancient Qin Dynasty, the Former Qin, and the Western Qin.
All rulers of the Later Qin declared themselves "emperors".

The Liang Dynasty was one of the Southern Dynasties, the Song, Qi, Liang and the Chen, which struggled against the Northern non-Chinese Dynasties of the Later Wei, Eastern Wei, Western Wei, Northern Qi and Northern Zhou.
Liang Menglung (A.D. 1527-1602) was the Governor of Shantung Province who, with Tu Tsemin the Governor of Fukien Province, pettitioned and got the Ming Government to lift the ban on Maritime activity, resulting in the great age of travel cummulating in the journeys of Admiral Cheng Ho.
Liang Shang (???- A.D. 141) was a Regent and the father of the consort during the Han.

Liu Zhi 劉志, known posthumously as Emperor Huan of the Later Han dynasty 漢桓帝, was born in 132 and came to the throne in 146 under the regency of the Empress-Dowager Liang Na and her brother Liang Ji.
Liang Shang died in 141, but he was immediately succeeded as General-in-Chief by his eldest son Liang Ji 冀, and with the aid of his sister in the inner palace the Liang group continued to dominate the court.
Liang Ji behaved in the same way, and was notorious for his seizure of private property and his exploitation of government officers, but through Sun Shou's influence her family shared in the opportunities.

Liang Qichao was born in a small village in Xinhui (新會), Guangdong Province on February 23, 1873.
Liang asserted that a newspaper "is the mirror of society," "the sustenance of the present," and "the lamp for the future." He categorized newspapers into four types: the newspaper of an individual, of a party, of a nation, and of the world.
Liang's works were strongly influenced by the Japanese political scholar Katō Hiroyuki (加藤弘之, 1836-1916), who used methods of social Darwinism to promote the statist ideology in Japanese society.
