		Latias is one of the two Legendary Pokémon to be found at the end of the players adventure in Pokémon Sapphire (and possible Emerald) and she is the one of the only four Legendary Pokémon to have a gender.
		Latias is actually more comparable to Latios than Lugia; their stats are identical with the exception of Attack and Defense (which are reversed, in case you were wondering).
		Latias is ideally suited to be a Dragon hunter as none of her weaknesses are compounded; she can merrily exploit the livin' heck outta Rayquaza's 4x Ice weakness while he feebly attempts to down her with the merely 2x effective Dragon Claw or whatever.

		Latias' Defense isn't horrid but I suppose it could stand to be supplemented, though if you were planning to go that route I'd probably recommend Reflect, myself.
		On the contrary; Latias is the very definition of "good"...so by all means use her if you aren't battling with a legendary clause in effect.

		Max Defence will buffer any physical hits Latias is forced to take, and combined with Recover, it should be able to out last the opponent.
		It outruns Jolly Groudon and Timid Kyogre, it buffers physical attacks nicely, however this set doesn't have EVs designed for Leftovers and due to Soul Dew boosting Special Attack, the excess EVs are thrown in Special Defence.
