Laviolette Bridge - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Laviolette Bridge (in French, le pont Laviolette) is an arch bridge connecting the city of Trois-Rivières, Quebec, Canada to Bécancour on the south shore of the Saint Lawrence River via Autoroute 55.
Laviolette Bridge is the only bridge across the Saint Lawrence River between Montreal and Quebec City, and therefore provides an important connection between the north and south shores of the river.
During its 1964–1967 construction, a mishap occurred on September 8, 1965 when an explosion led to the bursting of a caisson (because of water pressure) and causing the death of twelve workers.

with a Pier of the Laviolette Bridge, Quebec
It is unlikely that the ergonomic characteristics of the bridge and bridge equipment, in particular the ARPA radar screen, contributed to the occurrence.
Since the bridge piers have been protected by rock berms, it is risky for a vessel the size of the "DIAMOND STAR" to pass under the Laviolette bridge between the first two piers to the north of the centre channel.

The three bridges, one for automobiles over 12th Street, and two pedestrian bridges, one over 40th Street and another over 44th Street, have been equipped with fiber-optic monitoring equipment that detects weight and strain when an automobile or a person crosses.
We’re using fiber-optic strain sensors to measure the strain,” said Michael LaViolette, bridge engineer for the engineering center and associate scientist for the Center for Transportation Research and Education.
LaViolette said the 12th Street bridge was made with high-performance steel which will hopefully make the bridge last longer.

Some communities do designate snowmobile access routes into their town in order for sledders to get to gas stations, restaurants, etc - these should be well marked and noted on the local trail map - travel slowly and to the extreme right when using these routes.
If a snowmobiler tramples or destroys crops, tears down or destroys a landowners fence or leaves open a gate or bars on someone else's land - they are guilty of the crime of abusing another's property.
If a person enters someone else's property and breaks glass, damages the road, draining ditch, culvert, bridge or any other structures and dumps litter/trash in any amount, they're breaking the law.

On the 2nd page of the article LaViolette writes: The performance of the tired-light and expanding universe comologies are evaluated on four cosmological tests: the angular size-redshift test, the Hubble diagram test, the galaxy number-count-magnitude test, and the number-count-flux density test (log dN/dS-log S test).
On the other hand, when the expanding universe hypothesis is adhered to, ad hoc assumptions must be introduced about the possible existence of macroscopic dynamical quantization in the universe's expanding motion.
In the CONCLUSION LaViolette states:...It is concluded that the tired-light model makes a better fit on all four data sets.
