Ute - Law and Order Code
An application to the court for an order shall be by motion and shall be in writing, unless made orally during a hearing or trial, and shall set forth the relief or order sought and the grounds therefor stated with particularity.
Parties may obtain discovery regarding any matter, not privileged, which is relevant to the pending action, whether or not such would be admissible at trial, if such appears reasonably calculated to lead to the discovery of admissible evidence; except that discovery may not be had of the work product of a party's counselor or attorney.
If a party fails to perform after being ordered to do so by the Court, the Court may, upon motion, order that a certain fact, claim, or defense be deemed established or strike part of a claim or defense, or dismiss or render a judgment by default against the non-complying party in an aggravated case.

This law amends the Family Court Act and the Civil Practice Law and Rules to establish long arm jurisdiction over non-residents in cases where orders of protection are sought.
This act further protects the petitioner or respondent in an order of protection proceeding by allowing the family court, in cases involving family violence, to keep his or her address confidential where the court finds that release of the address would substantially increase the risk of violence.
Where an order of protection is issued on default, the party requesting the order may state on the record that he or she will arrange for service, otherwise the court shall deliver the order to a police officer.

As an additional matter, the respondent contends that, because it raised the First Amendment issue at the hearing, the administrative law judge was obligated to address that issue in her opinion and, because she did not, the matter should be remanded to the administrative law judge in order for her to do so.
Out-of-pocket expenses: The administrative law judge ordered the respondent to compensate the complainant in the amount of $15.34, an amount representing the cost of the complainants' meals and an accompanying "check-stop" fee, as well as for the cost of two counseling sessions attended by the child.
If the Administrative Law Judge ("ALJ") were to believe Christodoulakis's testimony that she did not use the word "nigger," the ALJ would then have to conclude that Complainant Mischeral Bond jumped up from her table, walked over to Christodoulakis, and falsely accused her of having used the word "nigger".

 Representing Children Worldwide
Where the interests of a child are involved, the court may make an order of protection in assistance or as a condition of any other made under this chapter, including the issuance of a temporary order of protection upon the filing of a petition, for good cause shown therein.
The order of protection may set forth reasonable conditions of behavior to be observed for a specified time by the petitioner or respondent of both.
If the court is satisfied by competent proof that a respondent has failed to obey a lawful order under this chapter, it may, without notice, issue a warrant directing that the respondent be arrested and brought before the court for a hearing thereon.

The Law and Order Offensive Party (German: Partei Rechtsstaatlicher Offensive), short form Offensive D (the "D" means "Deutschland"/"Germany") is a minor political party in Germany.
Because of this the official short form was "Schill" and the party called itself Schill-Partei (Schill Party) 2000-2003, after its founder.
In the 2004 Hamburg elections the party under the new leader Mario Mettbach only reached 0.4% and did not qualify for seats.

543, 750 NE2d 959 (2001) For the first time, the SJC decided that the non-moving party must show by a preponderance of the evidence that the moving party's petitioning activities are devoid of any factual support or any arguable basis in law.
Fabre sued, alleging that Walton had obtained the order to harass him, and had not been abused.
Invoking the Anti-SLAPP statute (c.231 sec.59H), the SJC ruled that Fabre's lawsuit would not be allowed to go forward without a "substantial basis" that the domestic violence claim was "devoid of any reasonable factual support," and that since the order had been extended, the claim must have had some factual support.

 No choice German elections
Shortly after, Cem Ă–zdemir (a Green party politician) and Gregor Gysi, leader of the PDS (Partei des Demokratischen Sozialismus — the former state party of Stalinist East Germany), resigned from their posts because they had been using air miles gained on business trips with the German airline Lufthansa for private travel.
In Hamburg, at the council elections in September 2001, the right-wing populist ‘law and order offensive’ party of judge Ronald Schill won almost 20% of the vote and was elected onto the city government at the first attempt.
Whilst the PDS is the only party in the Bundestag not specifically linked to capitalist interests — for example, it has come out against the war and pension reform — in East Germany it has become a party of government at local and state level, carrying out cuts in social services and privatisation.

Freedom or Theocracy?: Constitutionalism in Afghanistan and Iraq
The Hanafi school is perhaps the least accommodating of the four major schools of Sharia law to the autonomy of women and children, as it has traditionally been construed to allow marriages to be contracted by a guardian on behalf of a minor child and to forbid women from securing a divorce under most circumstances.
Although women are equal "before the law," the intention of the Afghan courts and many of the constitution's drafters is that the laws will treat them very differently in many respects, and deny them many liberties available to men.
The new constitution bans political parties whose aims are "contrary to the principles of [the] sacred religion of Islam," as well as those that primarily appeal to members of an underrepresented ethnic, linguistic or religious group.
