Dutton currently publishes 45 hardcover titles a year.
Brian Tart joined Dutton in 1998 as Editor-in-Chief, and was named Publisher in 2004 and then President in 2005.

Lawrence Dutton began violin and viola studies with Margaret Pardee and continued with Francis Tursi at the Eastman School, when he began playing viola exclusively.
Dutton is currently a Professor of Chamber Music at the State University of New York at Stony Brook and resides in Bronxville, New York with his wife, violinist Elizabeth Lim-Dutton and their sons Luke Thomas and Jesse Lee.

The Will of John Dutton of Dutton, gardener, dated March 18th, 1663/1664, and probated May 5th, 1665, mentioned Elizabeth Marshall, of the City of London, widow, and late wife of Thomas Marshall, clerk, and John Dutton the younger, the executrixes being Elizabeth Marshall and her youngest daughter (named Rebecca in the Probate).
Lawrence Dutton's Will, dated January 26th, 1392/1393, and proved February 10th, 1392/1393, left his estate to his nephew, Peter Dutton, son of Edmund Dutton, and it mentioned his nieces, Agnes Dutton and Ellen Dutton, daughters of Edmund Dutton, the executors being his wife, Margaret, and his cousin Hugh Dutton.
Lawrence Dutton was knighted, and he was Sheriff of Cheshire in 1369, 1370, 1371, and 1377.

The British Library, London, holds two copies of the Oxford Seven Pillars, a drafts of The Mint, the final typesetting manuscript of Lawrence's Odyssey translation, minor manuscripts, and correspondence including over 300 letters to Bernard and Charlotte Shaw.
The Houghton Library, Harvard, holds an annotated typescript of Lawrence's Oxford thesis on Crusader castles, Edward Garnett's draft abridgement of Seven Pillars (made on sheets of the Oxford Seven Pillars), drafts of The Mint, some minor manuscripts, a large number of letters, and a collection of printed books.

Perhaps in the adagio the violins were too sweet-toned, and neither Setzer nor Drucker quite balanced their tone successfully enough to compete with the melancholic grieving of the cello or viola.

A terrible tragedy occurred on the afternoon of Wednesday, July 25, 1956, when Hugh Dutton, an employee of the City of Saskatoon for only three years, was killed in an accident on the job.
Hugh Dutton was born in Prince Albert and lived there and in Regina, Saskatoon and Toronto before returning to Saskatoon to work and live.

HarperCollins has published an e-book version at a much lower price, but if you're a collector, this is the one you want; it's arguably the rarest Lawrence Block item and never shows up in the aftermarket.
This Bernie Rhodenbarr short story, by Lynne Wood Block and Lawrence Block, was written for the anthology Till Death Do Us Part, and first published in Mary Higgins Clark's Mystery Magazine, where it appeared as a special pamphlet bound into the magazine.
The editors were kind enough to send us the overrun of the pamphlets, and we are now making them available to collectors, signed by both of the co-authors.

 Vida Dutton Scudder
Vida Dutton Scudder (December 15, 1861- October 9, 1954), educator, activist and founder of the Episcopal Church Socialist League was born to Congregationalist missionaries in India.
Her support of striking textile workers in the Lawrence, Massachuetts strike in 1912 drew a great deal of criticism and threatened her teaching position.
Though she initially supported World War I, she joined the Fellowship of Reconciliation in 1923, and by the 1930s she was a pacifist.
