Barbosa was at his best in the win, and seems to fit more naturally into the team's rotation as a shooting guard, as opposed to playing the point, which he often does as Steve Nash's primary back-up.
Barbosa does not get enough shots consistently to put up numbers on a nightly basis, but in deeper daily transaction leagues he is worth a roster spot as a utility guy that has the ability to produce on any given night.
Barbosa (knee sprain) is out indefinitely after suffering a Grade 2 sprain to his knee similar to the one he got on Nov. 19, which caused him to miss three weeks, according to the Arizona Republic.

The thing that has scouts buzzing is the speed at which Barbosa plays for someone his size.
One Western Conference coach claims that he loves Barbosa, but he's afraid to draft him early because of the language barrier.
However, it is interesting that this article points out that the language barrier is one of the biggest obstacles...I remember that being the same issue with Nene...but he sure seems to have proven them wrong....of course point guard is a much more communication driven position than forward.
