		Lebanon County is a county located in the state of Pennsylvania.
		According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 939 km²; (363 mi²;).
		The racial makeup of the county is 94.46% White, 1.29% Black or African American, 0.13% Native American, 0.89% Asian, 0.04% Pacific Islander, 2.26% from other races, and 0.94% from two or more races.

		Lebanon is the seat of McKendree College, founded by Methodists in 1828 and one of the oldest colleges in the Mississippi valley.
		It was called Lebanon Seminary until 1830, when the present name was adopted in honor of William McKendree (1757-1835), known as the " Father of Western Methodism," a great preacher, and a bishop of the Methodist Church in 1808-1835, who had endowed the college with 480 acres of land.
