McPhail said that the issue of the pub application process was discussed at the last pub committee meeting and it was decided to table this issue to the Policy Committee.
Lee said that in order to sit on the Stipend committee, an individual must have a working knowledge of the Executive.
Lee felt that it was difficult to say whether we were interested or not, as she had not had the opportunity to see the publication.

The new editor, Muffet Lee McPhail, is a graduate of Delta State University where she earned a Bachelor's Degree and a Masters Degree in elementary education.
McPhail's grandfather and grandmother, Joe and Elizabeth Lee, bought The Tate County Democrat in 1970.
The senior Lees are buried at Bethesda Cemetery in Senatobia.

McPhail distributed a copy of Kansas Statutes Section 40-2248, which provides that it is the responsibility of the person or organization which seeks sponsorship of a bill that mandates health insurance coverage to provide an actuarial impact report to the legislative committee considering the bill.
He said the Insurance Department's role in the review of future legislative measures should be advisory in nature and the ultimate decision as to whether a proposed measure or amendment should be accompanied by a cost-benefit analysis should be left to a legislative committee.
Chairman J. Lee complimented the Department of Human Services on its efforts to develop the combined Healthy Steps and Medicaid application form and its efforts to obtain a federal waiver to allow the state to claim the CHIP federal matching percentage for Medicaid recipients previously eligible for the Healthy Steps program.

Between 1992, when he graduated from The Ruskin School of Drawing and Fine Art, University of Oxford, Until 2000, Lee Adams’ individual practice was primarily concerned with sculpture and installation.
As a curator Lee Adams produced the Sexmutant Festival (2000), which included five weeks of exhibitions, commissioned installations, film screenings and live art events at the Nunnery Gallery, London.
Lee has also lectured in Performance Art at Queen Mary and Westfield College, University of London and London Metropolitan University.

Bill Lee’s The Baseball Necrology is a thoroughly researched book with entries for more than 7,600 dead players, and other significant baseball personalities, that include information on their post-baseball career, death, and burial site.
On the other hand, Lee does list Bob Lemon as being cremated, even though many sources incorrectly note his interment site as Forest Lawn Cemetery in Long Beach, California, where he was cremated.
Lee includes a notation for those in the Hall of Fame; however, this is included with not just actual inductees but also with recipients of the Ford Frick and J. Taylor Spink awards.

 ODA Eases Import Restrictions on Bovine TB
COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Ohio Department of Agriculture is easing the restrictions on bovine tuberculosis requirements for imported cattle herds.
Lee McPhail, ODA Assistant Chief of the Division of Animal Industry, said the rule has been amended to allow herds to enter the state that tested negative for tuberculosis within 12 months prior to entry.
Despite the slight relaxation in the import rules, McPhail said the beef and dairy industries continue to express concerns over the possibility of Ohio cattle becoming infected with bovine tuberculosis.

 Ag Answers: Ohio Relaxes Bovine Tb Rules for Imported Cattle
The Ohio Department of Agriculture (ODA) is easing the restrictions on bovine tuberculosis requirements for imported cattle herds.
Lee McPhail, assistant chief of the department's Division of Animal Industry, said the rule has been amended to allow herds that tested negative for tuberculosis within the past 12 months to enter the state.
The original rule required herds to be free of the disease within six months of entry.
