Lee Remick (The Omen) does well as the agent assigned to assist Grigori in his mission, with a performance that proves to be an interesting contrast to Bronson’s own quiet approach.
It would have been all too easy to take the bubbly and talkative character of Barbara too far and into the realm of annoyance, but Remick plays things straight up the middle, and one certainly couldn’t have asked for better.
Though the main bad guy, so to speak, Donald Pleasence actually has very little to do here except make the occasional telephone call; nevertheless, his distinctive voice makes him the perfect choice for the part, however little physical acting may be involved.
