The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute is one of the best known and respected professional acting studios in the country.
Performance classes are taught by professional instructors at the institute who are selected for their comprehensive understanding of Strasberg’s work and for their ability to apply it to the needs of the individual actor.
Based on the early discoveries of Stanislavsky and the teachings of Boleslavsky, the method focuses on the connection between the actor’s personal experiences and emotions (called “sense memory”) and the experiences and emotions of the character.
