Lee University is a private coeducational university located in Cleveland, Tennessee.
The university has its roots in a Bible training academy founded by the denomination in 1918 and still maintains a strong Christian identity.
The Lee University campus was the former home of Bob Jones University from 1933–1947 before moving to its present campus in Greenville, South Carolina, in 1947, with the Rev. Billy Graham having attended one year of college at this Cleveland, Tennessee, campus location in 1936 before transferring to Trinity College of Florida.

Washington and Lee University is a private liberal arts college in Lexington, Rockbridge County, Virginia, located adjacent to Virginia Military Institute.
Both Lee and his son are buried, along with much of the Lee family, at Lee Chapel.
The University broke a long standing tradition of avoiding outside speakers at commencement by inviting Wolfe to speak at the undergraduate commencement in 2005, and he in fact delivered his speech off-the-cuff and entirely without notes.
