 Minimum Continuing Legal Education
The Minimum Continuing Legal Education Rules are adopted by the Oregon Supreme Court.
The MCLE rules require that all regular active members complete forty-five (45) hours of approved continuing legal education activities in each three (3) year reporting period.
Of those forty-five (45) hours, nine (9) must be on the subject of professional responsibility; five (5) of the nine (9) must be legal ethics credits, one of the nine (9) professional responsibility hours must be on lawyers’; child abuse reporting obligations.
