	Legends of the Superheroes - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Legends of the Superheroes was an umbrella title for two TV movies based on the Superfriends cartoon show that aired on NBC in January 1979.
		It also had a large ensemble cast of other DC Comics superheroes that included Garrett Craig as Captain Marvel, Howard Murphy as Green Lantern, Bill Nuckols as Hawkman, Barbara Joyce as The Huntress, Rod Haase as The Flash, and Danuta Wesley as The Black Canary.
		Notable guest stars in the two specials included Frank Gorshin, reprising his role as The Riddler from Batman, Charlie Callas as Sinestro, Jeff Altman as the Weather Wizard and Ed McMahon playing himself.

		Both are superheroes that had previously been featured in other shows or comics, yet seem to have fallen out of the public consciousness since these short-lived shows got yanked off the air.
		Legends lasted a grand total of two episodes, "The Challenge" and "The Roast," but has since gone onto become a cult fave.

		Sadly enough, I always wanted to see the Legends of the Superheroes after seeing a cast picture in a magazine about fifteen years ago but could never remember the name.
