Legislative Assembly is a name given to the legislature or lower house of a bicameral legislature, in some countries, often at subnational level.
In Australia the Legislative Assembly is the lower house of parliament in New South Wales, Victoria, and Western Australia, while in South Australia and Tasmania, the lower house is called the House of Assembly.
In Canada the Legislative Assembly is the name of the single house of the legislature in all provinces and territories except Quebec, where since 1968 it has been called the National Assembly, and Newfoundland and Labrador, where it is called the House of Assembly.

That's the only provision in the BNA Act on the subject of language; that there be equality in its use in those limited institutions-Parliament, the National Assembly of Quebec, the Supreme Court of Canada, and the Federal Court.
Those were incentives to bring the provinces into the Federation; but when we're talking about equality of the provinces, we're talking about the legislative power of each of the provinces being equal.
One way would be through a significant decentralization of legislative power to the provinces that would satisfy a great deal the aspirations of the more reasonable Quebec nationalists.

The MCA recommends the current legislation be amended with the following proviso: (1) The addition of a subsection 2, paragraph 3 (a) proviso: no physiotherapist shall perform any spinal manipulation unless the physiotherapist satisfies all criteria established and is certified as a specialist in spinal manipulation in accordance with all applicable standards and regulations.

The Alberta general election of 1905 was the first general election held in the Province of Alberta, Canada.
It was held on November 9, 1905 to elect members of the Alberta legislature to the 1st Alberta Legislative Assembly, shortly after the province was created out of the Northwest Territories on September 1, 1905.
The Alberta Liberal Party of Alexander C. Rutherford won 23 of the 25 seats in the new legislature, defeating the Conservative Party, which was led by a young lawyer, Richard Bennett, who later served as Prime Minister of Canada.

The court said that excluding off-reserve members from voting was discrimination and gave the federal government until November 20 of this year to amend legislation to allow off-reserve members the right to vote.
The federal government is currently moving on the legislation issue, while at the same time working with the Assembly of First Nations to hold public meetings across the country to hear the views of First Nations' peoples and organizations.
As a minimum, in Alberta, those same people would be paying at least two and a half thousand dollars less–as a minimum.
