 City View Magazine Political Ramblings
Constant legislative and policy changes that occur because of “party ideology” are expensive and contribute to an unstable society that in turn affects those citizens that are less fortunate and dependent on the government to survive.
We need changes to electoral legislation that ensures that the voter can only vote for the candidate in his or her own constituency and that their vote does not count in a second count that is established by party membership tally of votes.
I recommend that we make changes to existing legislation that will allow voters to participate in the electoral and legislative process by ensuring that the citizens are able to remove an elected member of the Legislative Assembly that is not performing in the way that they promised their constituents.

British Columbia is the westernmost province of the Dominion of Canada.
British Columbia has been called a sea of mountains, and this designation is fairly accurate, save perhaps for some forty miles on either side of the Chilcotin River, where are to be found rolling or tolerably level plateaux at least 3,000 feet above the sea and covered with excellent bunch grass.
Finally, after various vicissitudes, chief among which was the Chilcotin massacre of 1864, the colonies of British Columbia and Vancouver Island, already united in 1866 under one government at Victoria, were admitted into the Canadian Confederation on the 20th of July, 1871.
