	Lemar - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Lemar Obika (born 4 April 1978 in Tottenham, London), simply known as Lemar, is a British RandB singer who has had a run of chart success in the UK since appearing on Fame Academy on BBC Television.
		Lemar had some success in his musical career supporting Destiny's Child and achieving a record deal.
		Lemar has co-written for other artists as well- he notably co-wrote a track on boyband V's debut album You Stood Up entitled "Walk On".

		i owned a copy of lemar's time to grow and i listened to it everyday until a friend of mine took it and got hooked and didnt return it, i think it is a wonderful album and lemar's voice is awesome.
		Lemar is already a star in the UK and based on Time To Grow and Dedicated (which I also picked up), it shouldn't be too long before the US audience discovers what all the fuss is about.
		Lemar's husky voice may be somewhat reminiscent of fellow Briton Seal, but disappointingly, the former singer does not possess the dynamic vocal range of the latter.
