The mother and brother of murdered private investigator Daniel Morgan met the chairman of the Metropolitan Police Authority, Len Duvall yesterday (10th February 2006) to discuss the progress of the Metropolitan Police's latest report on the murder.
After receiving Sir Ian's report at the end of January, Len Duvall told the family that he had sent the report back to the Commissioner for further clarification.
Len Duvall repeated his undertaking to see the matter to a satisfactory conclusion and renewed his commitment to appointing an independent QC to review the case papers.
