Their son began playing guitar at the age of seven, and by the age of twelve he was the lead guitarist for his parents' band, billed as "Lone Pine Junior", playing (additional info and facts about Merle Travis) Merle Travis and (additional info and facts about Chet Atkins) Chet Atkins instrumentals and occasionally singing.
The Breau family moved to (Winnipeg is the capital and largest city of Manitoba; located in southern Manitoba; known for severe winters) Winnipeg, (One of the three prairie provinces in central Canada) Manitoba, in 1957, and their new band travelled and performed around the city and province as the CKY Caravan.
To many Canadians, the cool jazz of Breau's guitar is still an evocative memory of the sound of CBC in the (The time of life between 60 and 70) sixties.
