Virginia is a writer, an independent woman, who keeps experiencing confusion, memory lapses and lost time, much to the consternation of her loving husband, Robert (Mark Stevens).

A little like avant garde cinema, these pictures--all but one (Circus of Fear) directed by the notoriously, appallingly untalented Jess Franco--function better as theory than fact, unfolding on staid soundstage environments with single camera sets, stock footage, and jump cuts, and squandering, for the most part, the magisterial presence and delivery of Lee.

Just to confuse things a bit more, you can see the two *almost* side-by-side in the movie Henry V. (I don't think they had any scenes together.) However, there's no mistaking Bobby's entertaining portrayal of Pistol with Genn's more staid Constable of France.
(Their voices are also much different as I recall.) Both of them were released from military service during WWII to make the movie, but, while Robert Newton was in the Navy, Genn served in the Army.
