	Leonid Levin - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Leonid Levin (born 1948, USSR) is a computer scientist.
		He is well known for his work in randomness in computing, algorithmic complexity and intractability, foundations of mathematics and computer science, algorithmic probability, theory of computation, and information theory.
		Levin's journal article on this theorem was published in 1973; he reports that he had lectured on it for some years before that time.

		The largest group of Jewish organizations in Belarus is the Union of Jewish Organizations and Communities, headed by Leonid Levin.
		Levin also serve as vice president and president respectively of the Presidential Council of the Belarusian Association of Jewish Organizations and Congregations.

		Leonid A. Levin was born on November 2, 1948 in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine.
		In 1973, he published a paper in which he independently discovered results of Stephen Cook and Richard Karp on NP-completeness.
