As the origin of the mother geckos could not be determined, he was not sure if one of the two females was bisexual, but assumed that both were parthenogenetic and males hatched for uncleared reasons.

The Scaly-Fingered Gecko (Lepidodactylus lugubris) is a buff-yellow colored gecko, which moves comparatively very slow when compared with the other species, even when handling.
