Lijagulep - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A Congolese Spotted Lion or more correctly lijagulep is the hybrid of a female leopard/jaguar cross (a jagulep or lepjag) with a male lion.
This is the closest we have to an impression of how the Congolese Spotted Lion may have looked when alive.

Siegfried and Roy's current illusionist act, which will be the starbilled attraction at the Stardust through 1981, incorporates more than eighteen costume changes, a distinctively unique brand of showmanship and elegance, and the everboggling repertoire of illusions, all conceived, designed or executed by the team, which truly elevates "magic as an Art" to unquestioned prominence.
Tigers, leopards, cheetahs, panthers, jaguars, lions, and an unusual new cross-breed "lepjag" (an improbable mating of a South American jaguar and an African leopard; there are, in fact, less than six such animals in the entire world) have become an integral ingredient in both the professional and personal lives of the duo.
All of the animals in the act reside with Siegfried and Roy on their three acre compound where they and their attentive masters maintain an entire complex of cages, grooming facilities, swimming pools, gardens, and residences for themselves and their staff.

Of their unique and dazzling trademarks, none is more memorable than their continually growing family of wild, albeit carefully trained for stage "cats" and even more exotic animal additions to the act.
Leopards, cheetahs, panthers, jaguars, lions, and an unusual crossbreed called "lepjag", an improbable pairing of a South American jaguar and an African leopard.
The latest addition to their menagerie is "White Gold", a rare white tiger born December 23rd of last year to their two Siberian tigers, Sarah and Rajah.
