Leicester striker Les Ferdinand will decide whether to finally hang up his boots at the age of 37 after seeing a specialist at the end of the season about his long term knee problem.
Ferdinand has delayed surgery and gone through the pain barrier to play a leading role in Leicester's bid to stay in the Premiership and he is their top scorer with 12 goals.
Ferdinand has been leaning for most of the season towards calling it a day but several Leicester players have urged him to reconsider after his form for the Foxes.
