LesFleur de Lys changed lineups about half a dozen times during their recording career, which roughly spanned 1965-1969.

Vie Sans LesFleur’s first release, Emagine (A World Without Flowers) is an electro-funk fusion drawing upon influences of 80’s artists such as Art of Noise, Kraftwerk and 808 State as well as modern day hit-makers such as Armand Van Helden and Moby.
It was there were Fleur De Lys started out as a beat combo with the original line up of Frank Smith (guitar/vocals), Alex Chamberlain (Organ), Gary Churchill (Bass) and Keith Guster (Drums).
Teaming up with some musicians he met in London, LesFleur De Lys went back into the studio to record what is probably their best track, Circles.
By Spring 1967, Fleur De Lys joined the ever growing psychedelic bandwagon and did a single with friend and guitarist Rod Lynton under the name Rupert's People.

Whatever amount of confusion surrounding LesFleur de Lys is luckily undermined by an outstanding collection of music left behind by these musicians.
However, in addition to the slashing guitars and proto-psychedelic sounds most people associate with LesFleur de Lys, this collection will also introduce you to some really cool and melodic psych-pop sounds like "Prodigal Son", "One Girl City", and two of my favorites on the album, "Brick By Brick" and "Liar".
