| | CBC.ca Arts - Satellite-radio firm gives cash to Quebec musicians |
 | | Canadian Satellite Radio has pledged $100,000 to help two Quebec acts, Les Trois Accords and Stefie Shock, build an international audience. |
 | | The money helps satisfy licence conditions that were laid down by the CRTC last month when it approved a bid by CSR, as well as two other outfits, to offer satellite-radio services to Canadian listeners. |
 | | "We have chosen Les Trois Accords and Stefie Shock because they represent the vibrant and flourishing Quebec music scene," Stephen Trapp, head of CSR, said in a statement. |
