		LiIon batteries are much lighter than previous generations of batteries, and don't have the same gassing, memory, or self-discharge problems.
		The individual cells of a LiIon battery are packaged in a cylinder to separate its layers: two metal electrodes with a lithium salt suspended in an organic solvent acting as the battery's electrolyte.

		I'm considering to change my battery to the duralite 4000mah and my dilema is between the lipo or the liion
		I have been running a 4200mah 11.1v LiPo regulated to 6v in a 90 size machine with all digital and GV-1 for about 6 months, haven't had any issues.
		LiIon are known to be safer to handle, but with current charging and balancing, I'm not worried about the LiPo, and if I crash hard enough to damage the battery, there isn't going to be anything left of the heli anyway, so the fire ball will be a fitting tribute.
