Liam Kavanagh (Irish: Liam Ó Caomhánach; born February 9, 1935) is a former Irish politician.
Kavanagh is the nephew of James Everett, a former Labour Cabinet Minister.
Liam Kavanagh also served as a member of the British/Irish Parliamentary Body from 1990 to 1997 and the Semi-State Bodies Commission from 1987 to 1997, being Chairman from 1995 to 1997.

Liam Cosgrave resigned as party leader and FitzGerald was chosen by acclamation to succeed him.
