		The salutations to the four quarters of the Sun are an important part of Thelemic observance.
		A close examination of "Liber AL" will shed light upon such as the "ape gods" and the deities of the present Aeon as the relate to "Liber Resh".
		For those who are a bit puzzled by the god names in "Liber Resh", study of Eygptology is the best solution -- along with careful reading of "Liber AL" and "The Book of Thoth." Until then, one must make due with simplification of the attributes of the gods for the adorations.

	Liber 777
		The full name of this Class B document by Aleister Crowley is Liber 777 Vel Prolegoma Symbolica Ad Systemam Sceptico-Mysticae Viae Explicande, Fundamentum Hieroglyphicum Sanctissimorum Scientiae Summae.
		It consists of roughly 200 columns, with each row corresponding to a specific Sephirah[?] or path on the Tree of Life for a total of 35 rows.
		The rest came from his extensive study of the different religious and magical systems of the world.

		Since we have a class on "Liber 777" this month, I thought I would resurrect an article I wrote for the old "O.T.O. Newsletter" about eleven years ago.
		This is workable in most of the correspondences listed in "777", Col. XL, but diamonds and a few other stones are beyond the means of most of us.
		In darker hues this is sometimes called honey topaz, and a large stone of this type was used by Crowley for scrying in his "Liber 418" working.

		That said, '777' is clearly one of the best works of its kind, and rightly merits a place of honor on every occultist's bookshelf.
		Most of the attributions given in 'Liber 777' probably came directly from Allan Bennett, Crowley's mentor in the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, who was something of a scholar and who was also known to have given a work of this nature to Crowley before he left England for health reasons.
		Dion Fortune, in "The Mystical Qabalah," confirmed that many of the atributions listed in 'Liber 777' had previously been circulated among initiates of the Golden Dawn, and for this reason it can be assumed that much of this material was presented to Crowley when he joined the Order.

	Tarot and Enochian Magic
		Verses from Liber AL is liberally quoted in the other books; there are references to the Major Arcana in every Aethyr of Liber 418, while Crowley quotes whole paragraphs from Liber AL in the Book of Thoth.
		Liber 231 is a mysterious collection of Sigils that relate to the spiritual powers of the Major Arcana.
		Liber 777 can be used to reference any signposts seen in the vision, or build up new correspondences.

		You might be confusing Liber 777 with Sepher Sephiroth (the Hebrew number dictionary).
		Liber 777 was assembled from the Golden Dawn correspondences, augmented by others of interest to Crowley.
		Sepher Sephiroth was a number dictionary mostly compiled by Allen Bennett and continued by Crowley.
