Gibraltar's application for interim relief in the case involving qualifying and exempt companies is set to be heard by the Court of First Instance at the European Court of Justice today.
Gibraltar is challenging the European Commission to suspend part of the effect of their decision to hold an investigation into exempt and qualifying companies.
Her said that the difference between the IU proposal and other proposals from Spanish political parties was that the others wish to come to grips with the sovereignty problem from the outset even if sovereignty were to be left in abeyance for a period of 99 years.
