Liberty Records was a United States-based record label.
In 1963, the Liberty Records label was sold to Avnet (an electronics corporation) for $12 million.
Liberty recordings were first distributed in England by Decca Records on London Records, then by EMI which released the recordings on the Liberty label.

Liberty Records was founded in 1955 by Simon Waronker in Hollywood, California.
Cochran's first hit for the label was "Sittin' in the Balcony" (Liberty 55056) in 1957, a "cover" or competing copy of a record on a small North Carolina-based label by fledgling singer-songwriter John D. Loudermilk (recording as "Johnny Dee" on Colonial 430).
By 1965, Liberty began to augment their roster with some of the talent that would be the mainstay of the label for the next few years.

There are several pages missing from the front and back of this book, therefore it is not a complete record for the church.

In an extraordinary release of raw intelligence records, the National Security Agency has declassified and disclosed audio intercepts and related documents concerning the 1967 Israeli attack on the U.S.S. Liberty, an American intelligence vessel, that led to the deaths of 34 American sailors during the 1967 Arab-Israeli war.
Cristol said the contents of the new release were consistent with the position advanced in his book that the Israeli attack on the Liberty was accidental and unwitting, attributable to the fog of war.
Whether or not the new release answers all possible questions about the attack on the Liberty, which is unlikely, it appears to be the last known piece of hard evidence.

Both recordings feature the guitar and vocals of Chicago's Mark Skyer, the live performance augmented by Larry Taylor on bass,(one of many short reunions), the late Ronnie Barron (October 9, 1943-March 20, 1997), on piano, and group vocals by the Chambers Brothers.
Mandel continued to record, self releasing albums, and in 2004, oddly enough, recorded a song written by MP3.com cofounder Rod Underhill, a musician and lawyer who served as the founding music director for the original MP3.com.
Mandel is currently recording and touring with the "Chicago Blues Reunion", along with Nick Gravenites, Barry Goldberg, Tracy Nelson, Sam Lay, and Corky Siegel.
