		Although the album was by its nature not assembled with a single concept or even from a single time, the individual pieces fit well together and the album has the consistency that makes for enjoyable listening as well as the diversity required to maintain interest.
		Lie plays his synths, samplers, piano and modified e-guitar in a distinct, thorough way, which leads to beautiful textures like in the 2nd part of the first track.
		Now Lie works with Anki Udo in "Teater Visuell" [a new, promising Swedish/Norwegian puppet fringe group], but music for this group is not represented on this CD It is quite a venture to let music originally created for theatre stand on its own.

		Overall this album is produced well and is a delight for metal fans of the first two albums yet it continues the brilliant prog sound which follows on from the previous album.
		The album is also among DT’s heaviest, courtesy of John Petrucci and his 7-string guitars, but due to the quality of the riffs and a healthy amount of keyboards, it never collapses into meaningless thrash, such as in “Train of Thought”.
		This is Moore's second contribution to the album, and it is similar to "6:00" in that it employs a deceptively swinging vocal melody that sheds more light on his disenfranchisement and growing paranoia (at least, as far Awake being a narrative in my own mind).

		On the group's second album, A BEAUTIFUL LIE, Leto is a remarkably versatile vocalist and the band's sole songwriter, leading the quartet through potent tracks that recall A Perfect Circle and Deftones.
		I remember when i first heard the song "Attack" on the radio down here in Puerto Rico, i ran and called them up so they could tell me who they were and i soon as i knew their name i embarked on a journey to buy their cd but couldnt find it for 5 months.
		"A Beautiful Lie" is a spectacular rock album that surprisingly enough sounds nothings like their first (much to the disappointment of fans that expect bands to sound the same on every CD!).

		But this is just ridiculous; "Don´t Lie" is the biggest load of sugar-coated trash to hit the airwaves this year.
		First of all, her pseudo-reggae singing, as displayed in "Don´t Lie" as well as "Don´t Phunk With My Heart" is downright horrid.
		I cannot stand gimmicks, and a white woman trying to fool people into thinking that she has a reggae singing voice is a downright idiotic gimmick.

		Just as the whole album is, they are not extraordinary, but do prove that this is a band on the move.
		One of the more intriguing numbers is "A Modern Myth." It slows the pace of the album quite nicely, but once "the secret it out," it waves goodbye and goes silent for an eternity.
