		Lijiang (Chinese: 麗江; pinyin: Lìjiāng) is an old town in northwestern Yunnan Province, China.
		Lijiang's tourism also boomed, and travellers from around the world flooded in; although many locals fear that due to much of the development, the old town of Lijiang will lose its appeal.

		We were originally very interested in Lijiang but heard that it was kinda Disney-esque having been so reconstructed, etc. Seems like I might have been misinformed.
		Lijiang was reconstructed, yes, but only because it was leveled in an earthquake.
