		Lila Elaine McCann (born December 4, 1981 in Steilacoom, Washington) is a successful country music artist.
		McCann recorded "Down came a Blackbird" while she was a freshman in high school, she gave her demo to her manager and she soon after signed with Elektra records.
		As of 2005, according to her website, Lila is working on a new album as well as contributing singles to albums made by recording artists such as Jim Brickman.

		This song is more advanced on all levels; Lila's vocals, music, etc. She seems a bit more at home on this track that any of the others but that may be just me. Her presence kind of wafts through the track; she doesn't dwell on the lyrics as much.
		McCann does a respectable job on the song and really delves more into her little girl reputation with this uber cutesy country jam that's a bit overly simplistic at 2:51.
		McCann uses the perky, down-to-earth "normal person" track to her advantage; she puts on one of her better performances with a tongue in cheek attitude and some of the least contrived sounding emotion.
