		Lillebonne is a town of France in the département of Seine-Maritime, 3.5 miles north of the Seine and 24 miles east of Le Havre by railway.
		Lillebonne under the Romans, Juliobona, was the capital of the Caletes, or inhabitants of the Pays de Caux, in the time of Julius Caesar, by whom it was destroyed.
		Lillebonne lies in the valley of the Bolbec River at the foot of wooded hills.

		On arrival at Lillebonne around 11.45, though, the cloud was generally rather thicker with just the occasional glimpse of the sun, although the crowds assembled beside the Roman theatre outside the Town Hall were being entertained by a band and seemed in a happy enough mood.

		All that remained was to gaze at the partial phase for the ten minutes or so that the sun remained unobstructed by cloud and return to Lillebonne to find that the cloud there had remained very thick.

		The chairman reported that he had been the guest of the Mayor of Lillebonne and had thoroughly enjoyed his weekend visit to France from 28th to 31st May 2004 to take part in the celebrations to mark the 40th anniversary of the twinning link between Wellington and Lillebonne.
		He also thanked councillors for their support at the civic church service and civic lunch on Sunday, 6th June to mark the 20th anniversary of the twinning link between Wellington and Immenstadt, Germany.
		A letter of objection to the scheme was received from 36 residents of Lillebonne Close on the grounds that it was too close to housing, there was insufficient lighting and because of bad language, noise, drugs and drinking, dog mess, graffiti and sewerage.

		I’m still in Atlanta right now, but i will be travelling to Illinois on September 2.
		I will arrive at Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris on September 17, and i will probably get to Lillebonne on the 18th (with a brief stop-over in Le Havre).
		The staff of the Lillebonne tourist office has advised me that the best route from Paris to Lillebonne is to take the train to Le Havre and then a bus to Lillebonne.
