Lincoln, a member of the Senate Finance Committee, praised a bill to expand the number of families eligible for the refundable child tax credit by accelerating refundability of the credit.
In response, Lincoln spearheaded a bipartisan drive in the Senate to restore refundability of the child tax credit for the working families who were cut out of the bill.
Lincoln has championed the child tax credit since the 2001 tax cut debate, when she worked with Sen. Olympia Snowe (R-Maine) on the Finance Committee to expand the credit and make it refundable.

Child's writing is fast-paced and lively, and the author includes fascinating details about psychological testing and artificial intelligence.
Child has telegraphed the so-called surprise ending a little too much throughout the story, and while it did NOT come as any kind of a shock to me, and also despite the wheels of action slowing to a snails pace, I still found myself engrossed in this tale.
Lincoln Child has done this before, he won't be that lazy.

Both Lincoln Child and Douglas Preston are amazingly talented authors, but I also believe as many others do, they are much like John Lennon and Paul McCartney -- really good separately, but they are MUCH better when they work together.
I rounded up out of respect for the author, I suppose, but even then I feel this should only be getting one star for being so stale, predictable, and ten or fifteen years too late.
