Margeret Fidella Hay, daughter of Adam and Caroline Hay, was born in Jefferson county, Penn., July 11, 1864, and with her father’s family came to Lincoln county, Kansas, in June, 1879, and has since resided here, excepting an absence of a year and a half in California, in 1864-66 [sic, could be 1884-86].
The deceased was born in Albany county, N.Y., Oct. 10, 1810.
Lyster was born in the county of Wexford, Ireland.

 Lincoln County, Part 1
Lincoln County, situated just north of the center of the State, is bounded on the north by Mitchel (sic), on the east by Ottowa and Saline, on the south by Ellsworth, and on the west by Osborne and Russell counties.
Lincoln Center, the county seat, is located on the north side of the Saline River, about half a mile from the first bottom.
Lincoln County was without a paper from its organization in 1870 until March 3, 1873, when F. Barnhart, whose biography appears in the Osborne County History, commenced the publication of the Lincoln County News.

The junior member of the firm, Frank Davis, was born in Lincoln, Nebr., Nov. 22, 1860, and at present is a member of his father's family (as he is single), and has in all of the moves made by his father been with him.
In the fall of 1875, he was elected Clerk of Lincoln County and re-elected in 1877, and in 1879 was elected Treasurer of the county and re-elected in 1881.
Was elected County Attorney for Lincoln County, Kan., in the fall of 1874; re-elected in the fall of 1876.

Eleanora Louisa Cathrena Ahring Dodge was born in Lincoln County, Kan, on Feb. 28, 1894.
The daughter of Fredrick W. and Henrietta Pauline Lang Ahring, she was the seventh daughter and the youngest child in a family of 10, four brothers and six sisters, all of whom preceded her in death.
Loren Dale Dodge, son of Daniel and Eleanora Louisa Ahring Dodge, was born March 5, 1934, in Lincoln, and passed away Dec. 6, 1982, at Riverton, Wyo., at the age of 48 years, nine months and one day.
