The median income for a household in the county was $25,750, and the median income for a family was $31,250.

Originally known as Lancaster, the town was first settled in 1864 and renamed Lincoln in 1867 when it was designated the state capital.

The County will take steps to ensure that all appropriate employees are trained and practiced in using a TTY and the Nebraska Relay Service to make and receive calls and that its TTY’s are maintained in good working order through test calls every six months for the life of this Agreement.
The County will not place a surcharge on a particular individual with a disability or any group of individuals with disabilities to cover the cost of providing auxiliary aids/services or reasonable modifications of policy, such as retrieving items from locations that are open to the public but are not accessible to persons who use wheelchairs.
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is not required to provide a particular auxiliary aid or service if doing so would fundamentally alter the nature of the law enforcement activity in question, or if it would cause an undue administrative or financial burden.

Vertical control for the ortho-rectification process was obtained from various sources including existing USGS 10m DEM's, and mass point and break line data obtained by the City of Lincoln (Public Works and Utilities Dept.) to support 2- and 4-foot contour mapping.
Every image was orthorectified except in the Lincoln downtown area where select images were eliminated as redundant.
