Lincoln Cathedral is a historic cathedral in Lincoln in England, and seat of the Diocese of Lincoln in the Church of England.
Before that, St. Mary's church in Lincoln was a mother church but not a cathedral and the seat of the diocese was at Dorchester Abbey in Dorchester-on-Thames, Oxfordshire.
Lincoln was only the second Cathedral in the country to adopt a separate girls' choir, after Salisbury Cathedral.

The Lincoln Imp is the symbol of the City of Lincoln, the county town of Lincolnshire, England.
When an angel came out of a book of hymns and told them to stop, one of the imps was brave and started throwing rocks at the angel but the other imp cowered under the broken tables and chairs.
An 1899 reproduction of the Lincoln Imp also overlooked the Front Quad of Lincoln College, Oxford until 2000 when it was transferred to the bar (Deep Hall) and another Imp was erected in the traditional position above the entrance to Hall.

I do hate it when Mansfield play Lincoln as their play seems to have some form of affect on our normal game, much to my annoyance.
There needed to be a ref who was stronger in his decisions, who needed to clap down on lincolns niggling kicks, pushing shoving and other annoying little things that disrupted the game so much.
The game itself was poor, Mansfield were general more dominant in possession, lincoln had the best chance of the game really, with Pressman making some good saves, once again, he had a great game, just his kicking let him down yesterday unfortunately.
