I agree, the Mark LT name is very poor, and I question the sanity of the focus group (I was in one for the Aviator naming) who suggested it.
Sadly, it's apparently been so long since the Lincoln Mark VIII that people would even ask why Lincoln used the name "Mark"...
Except for that brief period in the early 80s when Marks were just styled Continetals (Town Cars), the Mark was always the top-of-the-line coupe, and the Mark VII LSC brought back some peformance to the nameplate as well.

The LT has the same exact interior as the Lariat or King Ranch F150's.
I have to agree with you - I think Lincoln blew it yet AGAIN on this one with not using the Navigator interior and options that come with the Navigator.
I was disappointed too when I saw the F-150 interior in the Mark LT. And I don't like the name either.....the Mark name should not be on a truck, it should be held in reserve for a coupe someday.
