Lincoln University is an agricultural college in Canterbury, New Zealand.
From 1896-1961 it served students under the name "Canterbury Agricultural College", and was affiliated with the University of New Zealand until that institution's demise.
From 1961 to 1990, it became Lincoln College, a constituent college of the University of Canterbury, until achieving autonomy in 1990 as Lincoln University.

Lincoln is a town in the Canterbury region of the South Island of New Zealand.
New ornamentals obtained in South America such as some Begonia, Ennealophus, Fuchsia, and Tibouchina species which are new to New Zealand are evaluated for growth habit, flowering behavior, and postharvest shelf life to estimate their potential as cut flowers or potted plants.
The program is new and open-ended in relation to identifying new opportunities and although many of the crops under investigation have not been previously grown in New Zealand, we believe the approach will see many of them become established industries in the future.
