The Lincolnshire Wolds Railway is a heritage railway based at Ludborough station, near Grimsby in Lincolnshire.
The railway operates on the trackbed of the former East Lincolnshire Railway, which opened from Grimsby to Boston via Louth in 1847.
The railway was absorbed by the Great Northern Railway (GNR), which later became part of the London and North Eastern Railway (LNER) in 1923.

Chairman of Lincolnshire Wolds Joint Advisory Committee Cllr Theobald acknowledged this point in his speech as he welcomed everyone to the launch: "These new leaflets are an example of what this partnership working can achieve, and of course walking is a great way to enjoy the Wolds."
The launch was held in conjunction with one of the celebratory walks taken from this year’s substantial events programme, advertised in Wolds News (available from tourist information centres, libraries, or from the Lincolnshire Wolds Countryside Service).
