Lindsey is something of a tragic character, having been born into a dirt-poor dysfunctional family in Oklahoma.
Lindsey worked very hard to overcome his upbringing and while a university student, was recruited by Wolfram and Hart, the evil law firm.
Lindsey was poised to leave Wolfram and Hart, but was wooed by a promotion and stayed, becoming an integral player in the plan to resurrect Darla.
